Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary:
is situated on the western tip to the Charao Island along Mandovi River. It is birdwatchers’ paradise. Here visitors can see various species of birds including migratory birds. Mangroves swamps at this sanctuary are haven for local birds and migratory birds. Visitors are allowed entry with the prior permission of the Chief Wildlife Warden. Visitors can access the Charao Island by canoe or ferry or boat and walk to this sanctuary. The sanctuary is open through out the year. Visitors can see a rich variety of coastal birds and can also spot flying foxes, jackals and crocodiles


Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary:
Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary is popular destination of wildlife tours in Goa. It has the area of 105 square km. It is situated at Canacona which is 60 km south of Panjim, the capital city of Goa, India. It has rich flora and fauna.
